Pachnephoptrus Explained
Pachnephoptrus is a genus of leaf beetles in the subfamily Eumolpinae.[1] The genus includes four species; one of them, P. weisei, is distributed from the Transcaucasus to Central Asia, while the other three are found in the Himalayas.[2]

Host plants
P. weisei has been reported on plants of the genus Astragalus (Fabaceae), while P. squamosus has been reported attacking young leaves of pear trees in an orchard in Shimla, India.[3] [5]
