Přechovice is a municipality and village in Strakonice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 100 inhabitants.
The name is derived from the personal name Přech, meaning "the village of Přech's people".[2]
Přechovice is located about 9km (06miles) south of Strakonice and 47km (29miles) northwest of České Budějovice. It lies in the Bohemian Forest Foothills. The highest point is the hill Manina at 640m (2,100feet) above sea level. The municipality is situated on the right bank of the Volyňka River.
