Płaszewo (German: Wendisch Plassow)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kobylnica, within Słupsk County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[2] It lies approximately 14km (09miles) south of Kobylnica, 170NaN0 south of Słupsk, and 1070NaN0 west of the regional capital Gdańsk.

Before 1648 the area was part of Duchy of Pomerania, and in 1648–1945 it belonged to Prussia and Germany. For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
