Oyster Creek (New Jersey) Explained

Oyster Creek is a 10.4adj=midNaNadj=mid^[1] tributary of Barnegat Bay in southeastern New Jersey in the United States.^[2]

The creek is located approximately 2miles south of Forked River in southern Ocean County.^[2]

The Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station is located on an 800acres site at Forked River.^[2] It opened in 1969 and was closed down on September 17, 2018.
