Oxford is a city in Izard County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 670 at the 2010 census.[2]
Oxford is located in northern Izard County at 36.2175°N -91.9189°W (36.217573, -91.918875).[3] Its northern border is the Fulton County line.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 16.8km2, all land.[2]

As of the census[4] of 2000, there were 642 people, 263 households, and 184 families residing in the city. The population density was 96.9sp=usNaNsp=us. There were 309 housing units at an average density of 46.6sp=usNaNsp=us. The racial makeup of the city was 95.79% White, 0.16% Black or African American, 1.09% Native American, 0.47% from other races, and 2.49% from two or more races. 1.71% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 263 households, out of which 30.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.0% were married couples living together, 9.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 30.0% were non-families. 26.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 13.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.44 and the average family size was 2.96.
In the city, the population was spread out, with 24.5% under the age of 18, 7.9% from 18 to 24, 23.5% from 25 to 44, 23.5% from 45 to 64, and 20.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females, there were 98.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 90.9 males.

Oxford is a part of the Izard County Consolidated School District. It was served by the Oxford School District until it consolidated into Izard County on July 1, 1985.[5]
