Ostorhinchus parvulus explained

Ostorhinchus parvulus, also known as the redspot cardinalfish, is a marine fish in the family Apogonidae.

Description

Redspot cardinalfish are semi-transparent with a large pink caudal spot. They reach a maximum size of 4cm (02inches).[1]

Distribution and habitat

The redspot cardinalfish can be found in groups around current-prone rocky reefs, up to a depth of 12m (39feet).

Reproduction

Redspot cardinalfish are mouthbreeders that form distinct spawning pairs.
