Orbix (software) explained

Orbix is a CORBA ORB (Object Request Broker) software package. Originally published by IONA Technologies, then Progress Software,[1] it was acquired by Micro Focus in 2012.[2] As of 2024, the software was being marketed by Rocket Software.[3] Orbix is intended to help programmers build distributed applications. It is an implementation of the OMG's (Object Management Group) CORBA specification.
