Oparinsky District (Russian: Опа́ринский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the thirty-nine in Kirov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 6043km2. Its administrative center is the urban locality (an urban-type settlement) of Oparino. Population: 14,631 (2002 Census); The population of Oparino accounts for 37.6% of the district's total population.
