Once Upon a Time... The Discoverers (fr|Il était une fois... les Découvreurs|link=no) is an educational animated television series created and directed by Albert Barillé. It is the fifth series in the Once Upon a Time... franchise.

The series was produced by French studio Procidis in co-production with French: [[France 3|FR3]]|i=no and Canal+ (France), Spanish; Castilian: [[Televisión Española]]|i=no (TVE, Spain), German: [[Westdeutscher Rundfunk]]|i=no and German: [[Südwestrundfunk]]|i=no (WDR and SWR, Germany), Italian: Reteitalia|i=no (Italy), French: [[Radio Télévision Suisse|Radio Télévision Suisse Romande]]|i=no and Italian: [[Radiotelevisione svizzera|Radiotelevisione della Svizzera Italiana]]|i=no (RTSR and RTSI, Switzerland), French: [[RTBF|Radio-télévision belge de la Communauté française]]|i=no (RTBF, Belgium), Finnish: [[Yle|Oy. Yleisradio Ab.]]|i=no (Yle, Finland), and the French French: [[Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée|Centre national de la cinématographie]]|i=no. The series premiered in France on Canal+, between 3 January and 5 September 1994, and it was subsequently broadcast on the channels of the rest of the broadcasters that participated in the production dubbed into their own language.

The series aired in the United States on the History Channel starting in April 1995.[1]
