Olszewo Węgorzewskie (German: Olschöwen, from 1938 to 1945 Kanitz) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Budry, within Węgorzewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 11km (07miles) north-west of Budry, 100NaN0 north of Węgorzewo, and 1000NaN0 north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
