She also interned for the New York Mets in their amateur scouting department.
In November 2022, as a freshman, Pichardo became the first woman named to an NCAA Division I baseball roster when she made the Brown University team as a walk-on.[5] In March 2023, she became the first woman to play in an NCAA Division 1 baseball game, when she pinch-hit.[6]
In July 2023, she became the first woman to hit a home run while playing in the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League; she was playing for the Sag Harbor Whalers.[7]
Pichardo was signed to the 2024 roster of the Dubois County Bombers, making her the first woman to be signed to that team’s roster. The Dubois County Bombers are a summer collegiate baseball team.[8] [9]
She is a utility player.
In 2022, she was on the roster for the United States women's national baseball team, where she played in a five-game series against Canada. She served as both an outfielder and right-handed pitcher. She made four starts in the outfield and one as a pitcher.[10]
