Oleśnica is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Olesno, within Dąbrowa County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6km (04miles) south of Olesno, 40NaN0 west of Dąbrowa Tarnowska, and 720NaN0 east of the regional capital Kraków.
In Kozubów (then within the borders of Austria-Hungary), today's part of Oleśnica, the outstanding Polish beekeeper Professor Leonard Weber (1889–1975) was born.
