Olbramice is a municipality and village in Olomouc District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 200 inhabitants.
The name is derived from the personal name Olbram, meaning "the village of Olbram's people".[2]
Olbramice is located about west of Olomouc. It lies in the Zábřeh Highlands. The highest point is at 444m (1,457feet) above sea level.
The first written mention of Olbramice is in a document written between 1368 and 1376. From 1589 until the establishment of a sovereign municipality in 1850, it was part of the Chudobín estate.[2]
There are no railways or major roads passing through the municipal territory.
The only protected cultural monuments are a column with a statue of St. John of Nepomuk from the mid-19th century and an Empire cross dating from 1821. Next to the cross is a belfry.[3] In the centre of Olbramice is the Chapel of Saint Vitus, built in 1937.[4]
