Oktyabrsky District (Russian: Октя́брьский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia.[1] It is located in the east of the oblast. The area of the district is 4356km2.[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Oktyabrskoye. Population: 28,245 (2002 Census); The population of Oktyabrskoye accounts for 32.1% of the district's total population.
