Odile Sankara is a Burkinabé artist, actress,[1] [2] playwright and director.[3] [4] She is the President of the Récréâtrales[5] [6] [7] [8] and a younger sister to the late revolutionary leader of Burkina Faso, Thomas Sankara.[9] [10]

Career

Sankara was featured in Iara Lee's 2018 film, Burkinabè Rising: the art of resistance in Burkina Faso.[11] [12]
