Nowy Las is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Głuchołazy, within Nysa County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland, close to the Czech border.[1] It lies approximately 7km (04miles) north-east of Głuchołazy, 140NaN0 south-east of Nysa, and 500NaN0 south-west of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945, the village was called Neuwalde and was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
