Novopokrovsky District (Russian: Новопокро́вский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty-eight in Krasnodar Krai, Russia.[1] As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Novopokrovsky Municipal District.[2] It is located in the northeast of the krai. The area of the district is 2156km2. Its administrative center is the rural locality (a stanitsa) of Novopokrovskaya. Population: The population of Novopokrovskaya accounts for 44.6% of the district's total population.
