Nikolai Andreyevich Melnikov (born January 24, 1948) is a former water polo player for the Soviet Union.^[1] He is Jewish, and was born in Moscow, Russia.^{[1] [2]} He won a gold medal at the 1972 Olympics in Munich.^[1]
