Niceforonia nana explained
Niceforonia nana is a species of frog in the family Strabomantidae.[1] [2] It is endemic to the Cordillera Oriental, Colombia, and found at 3000m-3850mm (10,000feet-12,630feetm) asl.[2]
This rare frog inhabits páramo grassland and montane forest, as well as secondary forest. It is potentially threatened by habitat loss. It can grow to 21mm in snout–vent length.[3]
