Nezar Kadhem Explained

Nezar Kadhem is the CEO and co-founder of Eat App, and co-founder of Soundscape music and art festival in Zanzibar.[1] [2]

Biography

From 2006 to 2010, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, focusing on International Business, at San Francisco State University's Lam Family College of Business.[3]

From 2010 to 2011, he earned a Master of Science in Global Entrepreneurship at Babson College's F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. The program was global, and allowed Nezar to live in France, China and Boston.[4] During this time, he also studied at Emlyon Business School and Zhejiang University in Hangzhou. In 2014, Kadhem co-founded Eat App. The company, which launched in 2015 with co-founder, David Feuillard, specializes in cloud-based management platforms for restaurants and hotels.[5] It became one of the fastest-growing and industry-leading restaurant management companies.[6] [7] [8] [9] Eat App has raised USD 13 million to date from prominent investors,[10] including 500 Startups and MEVP, and currently operates in 79 countries, serving over 2,300 restaurants.[11]  The company was recognized by Forbes as one of the Middle East's 50 Most-Funded Startups.[12] [13]

Personal life

Nezar Kadhem is known for his nomadic lifestyle and as a DJ who combines his experiences from both the tech and music industries.[14] [15] Kadhem is a co-founder at Soundscapes music and arts festival in Zanzibar.
