Nettenchelys erroriensis is an eel in the family Nettastomatidae (duckbill/witch eels). It was described by Emma Stanislavovna Karmovskaya in 1994.[1] It is a marine, deep water-dwelling eel which is known from Error Seamount (from which its species epithet is derived), in the western Indian Ocean. It dwells at a depth range of 395mto420mm (1,296feetto1,380feetm). Females can reach a maximum total length of 33.5cm (13.2inches).
