Nesotriccus is a genus of Central and South American birds in the tyrant flycatcher family Tyrannidae.
The genus contains five species:[1]

---|---|---|---|
Nesotriccus murinus | the Guianas and Amazonia to eastern Brazil, Paraguay and northwest Argentina | ||
Nesotriccus incomtus | southern Costa Rica and Panama through Colombia and northeast Ecuador to Venezuela, Trinidad, and Guyana | ||
Nesotriccus ridgwayi | Cocos tyrannulet | Cocos Island | |
Nesotriccus tumbezanus | Tumbesian tyrannulet | southwest Ecuador and northwest Peru | |
Nesotriccus maranonicus | Maranon tyrannulet | northeastern Peru | |
The Tumbesian tyrannulet was formerly considered conspecific with the widespread southern mouse-colored tyrannulet. The two species are visually very similar, but vocally distinct.[2]
