Iwasaku and Nesaku explained

Iwasaku and Nesaku are two kami in Shinto. They are often worshipped in star shrines in the northern Kantō region.^[1]

Nesaku (根折神 – Root Splitter) is a kami in Japanese mythology. In many versions, he is from the blood of Kagutsuchi.^[2] He is a minor star god.^[3]

Iwasaku (石折神 – Boulder Splitter) is likewise born from the blood of Kagutsuchi.^[4]
