Nervures Alpamayo Explained
The
Nervures Alpamayo is a French two-place
paraglider that was designed by Xavier Demoury and produced by
Nervures of
Soulom. It is now out of production.

The Alpamayo was designed as a tandem glider for flight training and as such was referred to as the Biplace Alpamayo, indicating that it is a two seater. It was replaced in production by the Nervures Arteson.[2]
Variants
- Alpamayo 38
Small-sized model for lighter pilots. Its 12.81NaN1 span wing has a wing area of 38m2 and the aspect ratio is 4.6:1. The take-off weight range is 105to. The glider model is CEN-1999 Biplace certified.[2]
- Alpamayo 43
Large-sized model for heavier pilots. Its 13.81NaN1 span wing has a wing area of 43m2, 46 cells and the aspect ratio is 4.6:1. The crew weight range is 120to. The glider model is AFNOR Biplace and CEN-1999 Biplace certified.[1] External links
