The Nemunas Dawn Party (Lithuanian: Nemuno Aušra) is a political party in Lithuania, founded on November 11, 2023, by Remigijus Žemaitaitis. Known for its populist, nationalist, and soft Eurosceptic positions, the party has gained a notable presence in the Seimas and local councils.[2]
The Nemunas Dawn Party was established following the removal of Remigijus Žemaitaitis from the Freedom and Justice Party in October 2023. The party held its founding congress in Klaipėda on November 11, 2023, where Žemaitaitis was elected chairman. It was officially registered as a political entity in January 2024.[3]
