Nazar Mohammad Mutmaeen (Pushto; Pashto: نظرمحمد مطمین) (born 1973) is an Afghan writer, journalist and political analyst. He is currently serving as acting head of the Afghanistan National Olympic Committee under the Taliban regime.[1] [2] The International Olympic Committee has not recognized Muatmeen and considers his predecessor Hafizullah Wali Rahimi to be the legitimate president in exile of the Afghan Olympic Committee.[3] [4] [5] [6]
Mutmaeen was born in 1973 in Nad Ali District of Helmand province, Afghanistan. He studied at Nangarhar University and graduated with a degree in civil engineering from Kabul University.[7]
