Nattawin Wattanagitiphat (th|ณัฐวิญญ์ วัฒนกิติพัฒน์; born 24 February 1994), nicknamed Apo (Thai: อาโป) is a Thai actor. He is best known for his main roles in Sud Kaen Saen Rak (2015), KinnPorsche (2022) and Man Suang (2023)
Nattawin Wattanagitiphat was born on February 24, 1994. He attended Thammasat University before transferring to Faculty of Communication Arts at Rangsit University.[1]
In 2014, Nattawin signed a contract as an actor with Channel 3 and made his debut in Sud Kaen Saen Rak. Later in the same year, he starred in a Luead Mungkorn, which is a Thai lakorn series consisting of 5 dramas. In 2018, his last lakorn with Channel 3 was Chart Suer Pun Mungkorn. Nattawin went on hiatus for more than 2 years after his contract expired in 2019.[2] [3]
In 2021, it was announced that Nattawin would return as an actor in the Thai boys' love (BL) series, KinnPorsche The Series, in the lead role of Porsche. The cut version of the series aired on One 31, and the uncut version (KinnPorsche The Series: La Forte) aired on iQIYI from April – June 2022.[4] [5] [6]
Nattawin rose to global prominence for his role, Porsche in “KinnPorsche”, earning him luxury fashion collaborations. In June 2023, Nattawin became Dior Thailand House Ambassador.
On 24 August 2023, the Thai historical movie, Man Suang starring Nattawin in the lead role as a traditional Thai dancer, Khem was released. The movie smashed Thailand box office records earning more than 11 million baht nationwide on the first day, breaking the record for the highest number of movie ticket reservations in 20 years of Thai movies.[7] On 29 February 2024, Man Suang was released for worldwide audience on Netflix.[8]
In September 2023, Nattawin was named Friend of the Maison Southeast Asia for Swiss luxury watchmaker and jeweler, Piaget. Shortly after his second collaboration with Piaget in April 2024, Nattawin is appointed as Global Ambassador of Piaget. This marked a significant moment as the first Thai global ambassador for the 150 years old brand.[9]
By early 2024, Nattawin placed top amongst Thai Stars ranked by earned media value[10] from luxury fashion collaborations, with $48.2 million as tallied by marketing agency Lefty.[11]
With Nattawin's rising global influence, the Tourism Authority of Thailand started a tourism campaign with Nattawin and Butterbear as presenters.[12] "Instant Happiness with Apo and Butterbear" travel campaign featuring 3 episodes of fun filled activities, premiered on Amazing Thailand Official Channels in September 2024.
On 4 October 2024, in the inaugural collaboration of global fashion media, WWD and Siam Piwat Group, the WWD x SIAM PIWAT Global Fashion Spotlight 2024 event, Nattawin was invited as a guest speaker as one of the key influencers for South East Asia’s Power Of Global Influence Panel.[13]
In 2019, he was ordained for 1 month at Wat Somphanas.[14] [15] [16]
