The Alamo region is an area of 19 counties defined by the Texas Comptroller for economic reporting in 2022, as mapped here. The region included 2020 population of almost 2.9 million, or 9.8 percent of Texas' population, with the San Antonio-New Braunfels MSA having 89 percent of the Alamo region's population and Bexar alone having 70 percent.[1]
This page includes Victoria County alone. For Bexar County (which includes San Antonio), see here. For the remaining 17 counties, see here.
