National Digital Archives (Polish: Narodowe Archiwum Cyfrowe, Polish: NAC) are the national archives of Poland, collecting and digitising audiovisual materials.[2]
National Digital Archives are one of three central State Archives (Polish: Archiwa Państwowe), other two being Central Archives of Historical Records and .[3] National Digital Archives were established on 28 March 2008 by transforming the Archives of Audiovisual Records (Polish: Archiwum Dokumentacji Mechanicznej 'Mechanical Documentation Archives') created in 1955.[4] [5]
National Digital Archives' collection include:[6]
which are all divided into 159 groups.[7] Whole collection is available for the public through the Archives' reading room, while digitilised records are made accessible through a website Polish: Szukaj w Archiwach 'Search in Archives' run by the NAC.[8] [9]
