Vijayasarathy of IANS wrote that the film is "Just an ordinary fare".[5] A critic from Filmibeat criticised the film's age old story.[6] A critic from Indiaglitz wrote that "When a series of newcomers submerging in failures here is duo directors - Velupriyan and Santosh with a very tight script and screenplay to boast that the days of youths have not gone.
