Namea jimna explained

Namea jimna is a species of mygalomorph spider in the Anamidae family. It is endemic to Australia. It was described in 1984 by Australian arachnologist Robert Raven.[1]

Distribution and habitat

The species occurs in south-eastern Queensland, including the Jimna Range, in closed forest habitats. The type locality is Mount Cabinet. It is also known from Mount Bauple near Maryborough.[1]

Behaviour

The spiders are fossorial, terrestrial predators.[1]
