The Nabuyatom crater is a caldera that was formed after a volcano collapsed.[1] The Nabuyatom crater is a circular crater which is found on the south of Lake Turkana, an alkaline lake in the Kenyan Rift Valley[2] and it is one of the tourist sites in Kenya.[1] The closest town, Lodvar, is over 70 kilometers away from the lake and crater.[3] The Nabuyatom crater was discovered in 1888.[3]
