The Town[2] of Murry is located in Rusk County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 275 at the 2000 census. The unincorporated community of Imalone is partially located in the town.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 62.1 square miles (160.9 km2), of which 61.8 square miles (160.2 km2) is land and 0.3 square mile (0.7 km2) (0.43%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 275 people, 116 households, and 77 families residing in the town. The population density was 4.4 people per square mile (1.7/km2). There were 162 housing units at an average density of 2.6 per square mile (1.0/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 98.18% White, 0.73% from other races, and 1.09% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.36% of the population.
There were 116 households, out of which 20.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.6% were married couples living together, 6.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.8% were non-families. 27.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.37 and the average family size was 2.88.
