Muradnagar is a city and a municipal board in Ghaziabad district, Uttar Pradesh, India. It lies about from Ghaziabad, the district headquarters, and from Delhi. Suresh Raina is also belong to Muradnagar And Harvir Singh Nehwal ;Father of Saina Nehwal was born in Jalalpur Dhindar. This Village is situated on Rawli Road Muradnagar.Muradnagar was founded by Hazrat Mohammed MuradGhazi (R.A.). The name "Muradnagar" is derived from its founder Hazrat 'MuradGhazi'. Muradnagar was once a stop(padaav) in the medieval times or Mughal times. It has working Municipal Corporation and it's Tehsil is Modinagar. The current MLA of Muradnagar is Mr Ajeet Pal Tyagi(BJP) and chairman is Mrs. Chammi Chaudhary (BSP) wife of Mr Wahab Chaudhary.
