Mount Hypothesis Explained

Mount Hypothesis (bg|връх Хипотеза|vrah Hipoteza,^[1] pronounced as /bg/) is the mountain rising to 1094 m^[2] on Nordenskjöld Coast in Graham Land, Antarctica. It has precipitous and rocky north slopes, and surmounts Mundraga Bay on the east and south.^[3]

The feature is named in appreciation of the role of hypothesis in scientific research.^[3]

Location

Mount Hypothesis is located at -64.4447°N -60.0242°W, which is 2.9 km southeast of Mount Elliott, 6.1 km northeast of Storgozia Nunatak and 5 km east of Zgorigrad Nunatak.
