Motutapu is a small island east of Rarotonga, within the Cook Islands archipelago. It is situated within the Ngatanglia Harbour about off the main island.[1] [2] [3]

Etymology

The name "Motutapu" means "Sacred island" in several Polynesian languages.[4]
