Moschopotamos (el|Μοσχοπόταμος, in Greek, Modern (1453-); pronounced as /mosxo'potamos/) is a village and a community of the Katerini municipality.[1] Before the 2011 local government reform it was part of the municipality of Elafina, of which it was a municipal district.[1] The community of Moschopotamos covers an area of .[2]
The village was named Dryanista (el|Δρυάνιστα, in Greek, Modern (1453-); pronounced as /ðɾi'anista/) until 1926, when it was officially renamed to its current name.[3]
