Taymouth Township is a civil township of Saginaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 4,065 at the 2020 Census.[2]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 35.7sqmi, of which 35.6sqmi is land and 0.1sqmi (0.34%) is water.
According to the 2000 census, there were 4,624 people, 1,583 households and 1,296 families residing in the township. The population density was . There were 1,661 housing units at an average density of . The racial make-up of the township was 95.61% White, 0.65% African American, 0.67% Native American, 0.19% Asian, 0.13% Pacific Islander, 0.82% from other races and 1.92% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.44% of the population.
There were 1,583 households, out of which 39.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 67.8% were married couples living together, 9.2% had a female householder with no husband present and 18.1% were non-families. 14.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
