Mormula Explained

Mormula is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Pyramidellidae, the pyrams and their allies.^{[1] [2]}

Description

The thick shell is turreted and shaped like an awl, rissoid, solid, and longitudinally plicate . The aperture is large. The columella is spirally tortuous. The outer lip is thickened within. The margin acute.^[3]
