Moresby Island (Peros Banhos) Explained

Moresby Island is the northernmost island on the Peros Banhos Atoll in the Chagos Archipelago of the British Indian Ocean Territory.[1] [2] The island was named after Robert Moresby. It is one of two islands in the archipelago with mangroves.[3]
