Monroe Precinct is located in Hardin County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2020 census, its population was 580.[1]
According to the 2021 census gazetteer files, Monroe Precinct has a total area of 49.88sqmi, of which 49.82sqmi (or 99.86%) is land and 0.07sqmi (or 0.14%) is water.[2]
As of the 2020 census there were 580 people, 187 households, and 120 families residing in the precinct. The population density was 11.63PD/sqmi. There were 318 housing units at an average density of 6.37/sqmi. The racial makeup of the precinct was 94.48% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.34% Asian, 0.34% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 4.83% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.86% of the population.
