Monk is a hardcore punk band from Los Angeles, California.[1] The band's first live performance and record release took place on August 11, 2023. The band has gone on to tour the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

History

Monk was formed in 2023 by Frank Bach (formerly Vicious Cycle).[2] Their debut release, 'Rock' was produced by Ian Romano and Daniel Romano and released by Dine Alone Records and blends hardcore punk with mindfulness and existentialism,[3] delivering their art in a thoughtfully constructed fashion. [4]

They have toured with D.O.A., Single Mothers and feature Liam Cormier of Cancer Bats on their single "Monk Stomp".[5]
