Mohsen Foroughi Explained

Mohsen Foroughi (Persian: محسن فروغی; May 14, 1907 – October 6, 1983)[1] was an Iranian architect, and one of the founders in 1945 of the influential Association of Iranian Architects.[2]

He designed the Faculty of Law and Political Science of Tehran University.[3] After Andre Godard retired as the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Tehran University, Mohsen Foroughi took on the position. This transition marked a significant change within the Faculty of Fine Arts. Notably, Persian was adopted as the language of instruction, aligning with the language policies of the university's other faculties.
