Mohsen Ali Akbar Namdar Nazar Al-Mandalawi (1968) is an Iraqi Kurdish businessman, billionaire, politician and a deputy in the Iraqi Council of Representatives, in the October 10, 2021, election session, and his votes numbered 5,385 votes in the fifth district of Baghdad Governorate, and was chosen as the first deputy speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives on September 29, 2022. He is ethnically Feyli Kurdish and was elected as the Emir of the Feyli National council in Iraq by the tribal sheikhs, he is currently representing the Feylis political interests in Iraq. He is the head of the Iraqi Al-Asas Alliance Chairman of the board of directors of the International Hospital for Specialized Surgery, and chairman of the board of directors of Al-Farahidi University. Al-Mandalawi is a billionaire and allegedly controls a large number of commercial enterprises in Iraq, with a gross value of several billion dollars. He also enjoys close relations with Iran, Qatar, and UAE.[6] He graduated from Baghdad Institute of Technology in 1988. On July 28, 2022, the nomination of Al-Mandalawi was announced to the Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives in agreement with the forces of the coordination framework.
