Miss World 1986, the 36th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 13 November 1986 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, United Kingdom. The winner was Giselle Laronde (Queen of Americas) from Trinidad and Tobago.[1] [2] She was crowned by Miss World 1985, Hólmfríður Karlsdóttir of Iceland. Runner-up was Pia Rosenberg Larsen (Queen of Europe) representing Denmark and third was Chantal Schreiber from Austria.
