Miss Earth Vietnam (Vietnamese: Hoa hậu Trái Đất Việt Nam) is the national beauty pageant of Vietnam, established in 2023 by TNÁ Entertainment, which is owned by former supermodel .
The current Miss Earth Vietnam titleholder is Đỗ Thị Lan Anh from Hanoi, who was crowned on October 14, 2023, in Hồ Chí Minh City. She represented Vietnam at Miss Earth 2023.
The first representative of Vietnam at the competition was Nguyen Ngan Ha at Miss Earth 2003 in the Philippines, she participated in Miss Vietnam 2000, then Miss Tourism Queen International 2004 in China. At Miss Earth 2004, supermodel confirmed her participation in the contest, and shortly after that she returned to Miss Earth 2009 as the main juror.
At Miss Earth 2005, Dao Thanh Hoai was second runner-up at Miss Vietnam Photogenic 2004. At Miss Earth 2006, supermodel Vu Nguyen Ha Anh confirmed her participation in the contest.
In 2007, part of the Miss Earth 2007 contest was held in Vietnam, the first time Miss Earth was hosted in a country other than the Philippines. Truong Tri Truc Diem was first runner-up at Miss Vietnam Photogenic 2005. Shortly after, she attended Miss International 2011.
Miss Earth 2010 took place in Vietnam for the second time. Miss Vietnam World Luu Thi Diem Huong and reached the top 14, Vietnam's first achievement at the contest. Shortly after, she attended Miss Universe 2012 in the US.
At Miss Earth 2011 and Miss Earth 2012 Vietnam's representatives were Phan Thi Mo - Miss Mietvuon, and Do Hoang Anh - second runner-up at Miss Vietnam 2012 respectively.
At Miss Earth 2016, Nguyen Thi Le Nam Em - Miss Melkong Delta Vietnam 2015 represented Vietnam at the contest and reached the top eight results, this was Vietnam's second achievement at the contest. At Miss Earth 2017, Le Thi Ha Thu - first runner-up at Miss Ocean Vietnam 2014 reached the top 17, this was Vietnam's third achievement at the contest. Previously, she had attended Miss Intercontinental 2015 in Germany.
In 2018, a casting contest with the participation of Miss Earth 2015 Angelia Ong of the Philippines, looked for a Vietnamese representative at the Miss Earth 2018 contest took place, resulting in second runner-Up at Miss Ocean Vietnam Global Nguyen Phuong Khanh won, she was also the first Vietnamese to win Miss Earth and bring the Big Four crown to Vietnam.
At Miss Earth 2019, Miss Earth 2020 and Miss Earth 2021, Vietnam's representatives at the contest were Hoang Thi Hanh (Miss Fashion Vietnam), Thai Thi Hoa (second runner-up Miss Vietnam Universe Ambassador 2018) and model Nguyen Thi Van Anh.
In 2022, Nova Entertainment bought the franchise of Miss Earth Vietnam, and confirmed they would host Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam. From 2022 to 2023, they also organized Miss Ethnic Vietnam.
At Miss Earth 2022, the second runner-up at Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022 Thach Thu Thao participated in Miss Earth 2022 reaching the top 20 - this was the fifth achievement of Vietnam at the competition.
In 2023, TNÁ Entertainment is owned by model Truong Ngoc Anh now holds the Miss Earth Vietnam copyright, and will host Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam - this is the third time Vietnam has hosted the contest.
In Miss Earth 2023, Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 Do Thi Lan Anh participated in the contest and achieved 2nd Runner-Up - This is the 6th achievement Vietnam has achieved at the competition.
In Miss Earth 2007, Nguyen Cong Khe - Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Nien Newspaper the first Vietnamese person was on the jury. He was also a judge for Miss Earth 2011. In Miss Earth 2009, model Bui Thuy Hanh was the second Vietnamese person to be on the jury.
In Miss Earth 2010, there are a total of three judges from Vietnam is Phạm Sanh Châu (Secretary General of the Vietnam UNESCO Committee), Hoàng Đại Thanh (Editor-in-chief of Youth Fashion Magazine) and Nguyễn Quỳnh Như (Fashion designer).
In Miss Earth 2023, Truong Ngoc Anh (CEO of TNÁ), Pham Danh (Deputy General Director of Van Phuc Group), Tran Nguyen Thien Huong (Editor of Harper's Braza VN Magazine), Betty Bui Do (CEO of OI Aesthetic Clinics), Sonny Nguyen (CEO K&K LLC), Bui Thi My Canh (Long Beach Preal Brand Representative) and Cory Tran (Fashion designer in New York).
In 2023, Vietnam crafted a new crown for Miss Earth, replacing the competition's traditional crown (Gem Crown) called Long Beach Preal Crown (a type of crown similar to the current crown of the Miss International contest - the crown of both contests is named Long Beach Preal Crown).
Currently, TNA Ent holds the copyright of world-class beauty contests such as Miss Earth, Miss Supranational, The Miss Globe and Miss Eco International in Vietnam.
