Miphora Explained

Miphora is a non-valid genus of true bugs belonging to the family Aphrophoridae.

It is a subjective synonym of Aphrophora Germar, 1821, in Liang, 1998: 241. ^[1]

Species

Several species were previously included,^[2] which now belong in other genera:

• Miphora arisanella -> Aphrophora (Aphrophora) arisanella
• Miphora shirakii -> Aphrophora (Aphrophora) arisanella as subjective synonym.
• Miphora taiwana -> Aphrophora (Aphrophora) taiwana
