The Minister of Education (Norwegian: Kunnskapsminister) is a councilor of state in the Ministry of Education and Research. The incumbent minister is Kari Nessa Nordtun of the Labour Party which served since October 2023.

The position was created on 30 November 1814 as Minister for the 1st Ministry and has changed name several times throughout its history.
