Millmerran Woods is a rural locality in the Toowoomba Region, Queensland, Australia.[1] In the, Millmerran Woods had a population of 152 people.

Geography

The most common land use in the locality is grazing on native vegetation, with the remainder of the locality being rural residential properties.[2]

History

The locality name is derived from the nearby town of Millmerran, which in turn is derived from Aboriginal words in the Gooneburra language with meel meaning eye and merran meaning lookout.[1]

Land parcels of were sold in 1979 at a cost of $7,800 to $10,400 with a deposit of $750.[3]
