Mikhaylovsky District (Russian: Миха́йловский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the twenty-two in Primorsky Krai, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the krai. The area of the district is 2741.4km2.[3] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Mikhaylovka. Population: The population of Mikhaylovka accounts for 26.6% of the district's total population.

It includes Novoshakhtinsky (http://www.weathergraphics.com/tim/russia/Pad_Novoshakhtinsky.htm) and Kremovo, whose airfield was abandoned in 1998.

The district was formed on January 4, 1926.[4]
